Frozen Food

A funny thing happened last night. I looked down into my shopping basket, and saw potatoes, bananas, apples, baby spinach, feta cheese, milk, OJ, light vinagrette dressing, high-fiber cereal, and chicken breasts.

No pasta. No bread. No frozen food. Things have changed.

As hard as I've been pushing the last few weeks, it becomes very clear within a day or two when I'm not eating well. In a fit of stupidity yesterday morning, I had doughnuts and coffee for breakfast, and I was wrecked the rest of the day. I skipped the workout, and restocked the pantry instead.

Dinner was a spinach salad with feta cheese, apple slices, and vinagrette dressing (must add walnuts next time), followed by ac chicken breast cooked in marinara sauce with a bit of pasta and... a sourdough roll. No desert. Thoguht about it, but every time I did, I flashed back to the doughnuts. So no desert.

Today I feel great. Climbing tonight, bike tomorrow. I need to find a fun, curvy trail here in Simi.
