Weigh-In 9/21/2006: 192.4 lbs.

I've been good for the last couple of weeks, and It's starting to show. I've weighed in several times this week, coming in consistently south of 193 lbs. (For a while I was putting on muscle, and actually gained a couple of pounds, so I was coming in north of 195, so this is actully a bigger improvement than is evident just from reading my blog.)

For those keeping score at home, in the last 8 months, I've lost around 12 lbs and dropped from 22% body fat to around 17%. That means that all the weight I've lost has been fat. Awesome. Let's hear it for good nutrition.

Running continues to improve. The spring is returning to my legs, and I'm actually feeling smooth on my feet. I can feel my stride wanting to stretch out. So now it's all about staying consistent, running twice a week, and gradually working into being comfortable enough with that that I can add a third run to my weekly schedule. After that, history has shown that weight loss is Not a Problem. So the whole snowball effect has started rolling. I lose weight, so running gets easier, so I get in better shape, so its easier to lose weight, so running gets easier...
