DMGFirst Guitar Lesson
Wow. This was like deja vu. First lessons are always interesting. Assessing goals, current skills, and putting a plan together for making things fun and interesting and productive. Very standard beginner stuff. Half an hour a week.
So, we're starting with the basics. A few chords, strumming patterns, all in the service of the allmighty 12-bar Blues Chorus. Awesome.
So I'll be working on mastering that for next week, and putting together a CD of a few songs I want to learn, so I'll have to pick through my Beatles and Dylan and (dare I hope?) Sam Phillips and see if I can put together a good mix of songs that'll be achievable goals for the next month or two.
And I found the mic for my MP3 recorder. Muah-ha-haaah!
