Milestones
After this weekend's Joshua Tree trip (also here), I'm really motivated to get everything moving again. To start setting milestones and moving toward them.
So I was happy to hear that my Krav Maga school is running yellow belt testing next month, with a two-hour prep and evaluation session on Saturday. So, I'll have a chance to see where I'm at, and maybe test next moth. If not, I'll have another chance in two months.
I'll also be working toward getting back on lead in the climbing gym, and getting comfortable climbing outdoors again. Malibu Creek has some great 5.7-5.8 sport leads. (I think?) That might make a great goal for the summer/fall.
And my bike rides and hikes will be doing double-duty: weight loss and training for Wyoming. Gotta get my legs and back strong and stable!
All this boils down to: use my time wisely. Eat right, early to bed, early to rise.
