Back in the Groove
I've done some kind of workout every day for the last 6 days, and I've got two more days to go before resting: tonight is hockey, and tomorrow is more Krav.
And I feel great.
Part of it is that I've been eating really well. Plenty of carbs, lots of veggies, and easy on the protein. But mostly I think I've just hit a point where I can do this stuff every day and not have it grind me into the ground.
I'm still dropping weight, though not as quickly, but my jeans keep getting looser, and I keep getting stronger. Every time I head out on my bike, I have a moment of, "Hey, I couldn't do that before..."
I'm starting to feel like I did back when I started training for the Marathon, two years ago.
And I don't want to jinx it. So I'm planning on Krav tomorrow, but we'll see how I feel tomorrow morning. If tonight's hockey game takes a lot out of me, then it's time for a couple of well-earned rest days.
