Weigh-In: 175.2 lbs.
The last couple weeks, I've been skipping desert at night, and just continuing to ride and run and lift. It was my way of working toward my weight goal of 175 lbs. without actually putting in much effort. I hadn't weighed in for a few weeks, but I could feel my jeans getting more and more roomy.
So, just for grins, I weighed myself this morning: 175.2 lbs.
No, not a big deal to anyone else. But I feel like it's a milestone for me.
So, the question is: do I try to maintain this weight? I certainly don't intend to start getting bigger again. But I'm not sure whether I'm better off trying to maintain where I'm at, or whether I should just let my body find its own equilibrium point.
(Nice problem to have, I know.)
For now, I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing, and see what happens. I bet I'll drop a couple more pounds, then settle in just north of 170 lbs. I'm fine with that. But if I start to find that I'm running out of energy, I'll definitely start paying more attention to fueling up before workouts, and getting plenty of recovery food afterward.
