DMGTune-Up at Valley Bicycles
I'm heading out with D and J tomorrow to ride in the "Solvang Prelude", a big-ass organized ride that's supposed to be among the best in California. A metric century of amazing views, beautiful weather, and general cycling fun.
Last night I discovered a problem I don't have the parts or know-how to fix, so my road bike is now at the shop getting a tune-up and cable replacement from the pros at Valley Bicycles. It's really cool of them to do this on zero notice, and promise it for the end of the day. I'm sure they've got plenty of bikes that riders want back for the weekend.
Update 3:30pm: I've got my bike back, and I'll take it out for a quick shake-out ride tonight.
Update 11/05/07: The tune up was just what my ride needed, and she was in tip-top shape for Saturday's Solvang Prelude.
