Monday Morning
Okay, a few things. First, check out my GPS map of the Solvang Prelude, which features my new geotagging code. It's a long way from where I want to be, but it's not a bad start.
I'm well-rested this morning (yay time change!) and my legs feel strong and limber and ready for this weekend's Tour de Foothills!
I weighed in this morning at 175 lbs exactly, and after Saturday's ride was at 173.5. I've had training partners and family members make comments to the effect of, "Dude, did you lose some more weight?" and yesterday Laura commented that this is the slimmest she's ever seen me. This tells me that I really ought make sure I'm getting enough fuel. Lean good. Skelletal bad.
And finally, some interesting reading on social networking:
Anil Dash: Thanks for the Add!
Marc Andreessen: Open Social: a new universe of social applications all over the web
And this from Warren Ellis:
MySpace is going quiet, Facebook's a bubble (because, basically, it's a shit interface used primarily for telling people you're a mad bitey zombie pirate monkey) (and no, I'm not adding you on Facebook if I don't know you because adding everyone who asks for it on Facebook makes the site completely unusable for me)... you kind of wonder if 2008 isn't the year that big social networks just go away.
Oh, and one more thing:
Marc Andreessen: Suicide by strike
Happy Monday!
