I stayed up last night putting in a couple of quick bugfixes.
Fixing Exif parsing and adding proper sorting to images fixed a cluster of related problems. Geotagged images now show up in the right spots on the map, and images are now sorted in chronological order, by date taken, then by date posted.
I also took a fast and dirty stab at making my GPS maps viewable in IE. Tested this morning, and something is still borken. The JavaScript I wrote to fit the page to the window is standards complient, which of course makes it IE-incompatible. Should be a simple enough fix, though.
(Update: Found the problem in the JavaScript that snap-fits the page to the browser window. Will be fixed tonight. (Update: done.))
And I've updated the code so that it only fetches the actual file data for an attachment if needed. This has produced noticable performance improvements. (I'd gotten away with not doing this for a while, but uploading a bunch of large images killed page load times, and finally made it worth fixing. Interestingly, this only took about 20 minutes to do.)
