Pseudo-Blog Idea
How about a daily tutorial blog, where you pick a subject and get one bite-sized lesson each day. The URL for the RSS/Atom feed would take a single date parameter, indicating the day you started the tutorial, so that the server could figure out which lesson to give you. So, if you start your five-lesson tutorial today, December 4, then you'll get lesson #2 on the 5th, #3 on the 6th, etc. All delivered to your RSS reader on the appropriate day.
I guess what I see is that there isn't much support for a site where you read a little each day, and continue the next day from where you left off. HTTP is stateless, and we've built mostly stateless websites too.
