Open Communication

Hillary Rosen, retired CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America, has written a piece for Wired in which she talks about her debates with Lawrence Lessig on the subject of copyright, and about moving from staunch defender of intellectual property toward more neutral ground.

She still referrs to the "Everything for Free Foundation", which makes me bristle. The misunderstanding is deep indeed if this is how the RIAA see the EFF.

But this is exactly the road we want to be on if we're going to find some middle ground.
