Break-ins Plague Targets of US Attorneys

Larisa Alexandrovna, Muriel Kane and Lindsay Beyerstein at The Raw Story have put together what looks like a solid piece of investigative news. They report:

In two states where US attorneys are already under fire for serious allegations of political prosecutions, seven people associated with three federal cases have experienced 10 suspicious incidents including break-ins and arson.

I'm not easily swayed by online new sources, but Lindsay Beyerstein is, I believe, a very well-regarded political reporter. She's put her name on this, so I want to hear more.

The piece is compelling. Not one or two "suspicious" events. Ten break-ins, arsons, and assaults, all without profit motive, all unsolved, and all victimizing the targets of politically-motivated federal investigations.

This kind of thing scares the crap out of me.

Dude, no "u" in attorney. I don't even think there's a "u" in England's attorney.

Doude.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I see no "u". Look again.

(But, y'know, thanks for the heads-up anyway.)

Welcome to 1984 Citizen 128Alpha64-19, have a pleasant day and mind the rabid partisan watch dogs.

I keep checking CNN, etc. to see if this story is getting picked up. It doesn't seem to be. The evidence isn't super-strong, but it sounds like enough to devote some real resources to solving some of these isolated cases and see if some common names start turning up.

In this story, it's tough to see who the "rabid partisan watch dogs" are until there's more evidence.
