DMGStreamlining
I finally got fed up with waiting for Gmail to hit the POP server on dreadedmonkeygod.net to get my email. So I configured DMG to auto-forward everything to my Gmail address. No more lag, and the whole thing remains transparent to everyone but me. Spiffy.
I got a lot done last night: yoga, housekeeping, haircut, and I researched the legitimacy of an online business. (Yay for the BBB!)
And I'm implementing JWZ's backup strategy, which has the merrits of being simple, reliable, and basically dirt cheap. Two external hard drive enclosures ar en route. When I'm done rearranging, I'll be able to retire one of my desktop machines.
Tonight: laundry, food, relaxation. The plan is to watch a lot of Weeds.
