Oh, For Cryin' Out Loud
I got to sleep around 1am, after the TyPM finally kicked in. Had to be up at 7am to take my car for an oil change, but I can get by on 6 hours of sleep.
But I was awakened at 6:20 this morning by my neighbors yelling at each other. Evidently the guy across from me had woken up the couple downstairs. They were understandably annoyed, but somehow the conversation devolved into a shouting match that ended in slamming doors.
Then the couple stood on their porch and vented for 20 minutes. I was too groggy from the TyPM to get up and walk down the stairs and ask them to take it inside.
I got to the oil change 20 minutes late. When it was done, the mechanic came to me and asked, "What are your plans for the car?" That's never a good question.
He said the car is at a point where "things can quickly get out of hand" and "put [me] into a lot of credit card debt." Ha.
And Tuesday's Krav workout has left me rediculously stiff and sore. I'm going tonight, but I'm not sure I'll stay for Jiu Jitsu. I need sleep, and I need rest: I'm planning on a century ride on Saturday, for which I'll have to be out of bed by 5:15am.
Can I please just take the day off and go back to bed?
