Good Stories
A while back, in college, I was high on CS classes and the academic options afforded by a major university, and remembered how I liked old tall tales and folk stories. Sure enough, there was a class in "Native American Folklore" that counted for intensive writing credit.
I think the class was subtitled, "Incarnations of the Trixter" or some such. There were lots of coyote stories. I don't mean "stories about coyotes". I mean "stories about Coyote", the way that you say "stories about Paul Bunion" or "stories about my dad". Coyote is a specific character.
Anyway, I loved the stories, and reading them always left me dreamy and relaxed. I hadn't thought about those stories in years. But Chris Clarke posted a great one to Creek Running North: Coyote and Badger.
