Interesting complaints. Chris is planning to get one in July (work wants him to have one and is supposed to pay for the data plan part). Some of the complaints, like the fingernail thing, seem a little picky. Any product is going to have something someone somewhere will complain about. The multimedia messaging service lack is very interesting.

Yeah, no clue why Apple can't get MMS working. Seems like a pretty basic request. But hey. No biggie. What's really puzzling to me is that I'd actually *rather* pay $300-$400 and pay less per month. I'll take large one-time expenditures over a two-year commitment to increase my living expenses. I'm actually considering buying a refurb iPhone so I can get the cheaper data/SMS plan. The software will all be the same, right?

There will be a software bump called iPhone 2.0 that will work on both Rev.A and Rev.B handsets. I have no idea if this will affect a Rev.A handset in ways that you like or not.
