DMG went down sometime early Friday morning, and is now finally back up. I was going to rant and rave here, but in keeping with Chris's Law:

Things are as management has decided they should be.

And given that I'm the management, I have to accept responsibility. When you pay $7 per month for hosting, you get what you pay for. Most of the time, everything's fine. But when it goes bad... watch out.

Dude, your "updated" or "new" server is a real dog. Pages take forever to load now. Did you get moved to their new energy efficient, hamster wheel powered computer? I hope you're not paying more.

I hear ya. The "new" server was picked because of the installed software. I never thought I'd take a performance hit like I did. But it's not entirely my ISP's fault. I'm a big believer in doing ZERO optimization until performance is a demonstrable problem.

So, I'll have to cook up a fix in my copious free time.
