I had so much fun in wildwood the other night that when the boss at work sent everyone home early, I headed on back for seconds.

I did my first ever successful bunny hop! Right over that snake in the picture above. I was going to fast to stop, and didn't want to annoy what could have been a rattler. Turns out it was just a docile king snake (I think? Can anyone correct me on this?)

I was having too much fun riding to take any other pictures. Just a few of the snake, and then it was full speed ahead.

Just a couple of minutes later, I rounded a corner and surprised a deer lunching on the trail. It bolted around a corner and then went to ground in the brush below the trail. Just amazing to get that close!

I did discover, unfortunately, that letting HEED go rancid in your camelbak leaves a nasty taste in your water supply. I'm strongly considering getting a new reservoir. If another scrubbing cleans out the taste, I'll keep it. But this is a serious drawback to HEED. CarboRocket and Gatorade never did this.
