Took a fast spin around my current favorite loop: Rosewood up, Space Mountain down. It was a crowded night on the trail tonight, with several riders showing an annoying lack of trail etiquette: I was huffing and puffing up Rosewood, and four in a row bombed right past me on the narrow trail. Riders going downhill should yield, kids!

With all the riders on thes trails today, I ended up stopped for several minutes, waiting for the trail to clear. My personal best time on this loop is 1:17:40. Today's time: 1:19:05. I missed setting a PR by 0:01:25. Damn.

I passed a guy coming up Space Mountain on a bike towing his son on a trail-a-bike. Space Mountain is no cakewalk climb, and towing an eight-year-old has to be brutal. So huge dad- and biker-cred to that guy.

And I'm now sure that the fork on my mountain bike is leaking oil. Bummer. On the up side, it's getting progressively more cush. Still, gonna try to replace the gaskets this weekend. Crossing my fingers!
