Despite the (notable) drawback of having to finish every ride with a tough climb on pavement, I keep heading back to Sycamore Canyon. Some of the best trails around, and there's plenty of variety. Riding here is making me a better rider.

Evening clouds and fog made this ride absolutely perfect: cool and breezy. If it weren't California, I'd have sworn that there was rain coming in. And for some reason trails have been remarkably empty.

I'm enjoying Sycamore, Wildwood and Cheeseboro, but it's definitely starting to feel like time to go ride in Simi again.
