My girlfriend and I saw Diana Krall perform with the L.A. Phil last night at the Hollywood Bowl. It was just amazing. She did a few tunes that haven't ever been favorites of mine, but have now become so ("Dancing Cheek to Cheek"), and a couple of favorites that were just wonderful to hear a new take on ("Pick Yourself Up"). And the lush arrangements I so enjoy on her albums were just as delicious live. Bravo to everyone on stage last night!
