I noticed this last week at The Farm of Beverly Hills downtown. I really liked that the faucet kept the rustic, friendly style of the decor while still offering modern functionality: the faucet is triggered when you put your hands under it, which both saves water and prevents the spread of germs.

I like this trend. It's at the heart of why the iPhone is a runaway hit, and misunderstanding its importance is why no other device is even close.
