Wireless Linux Overview

Good overview articles are rare in the Linux world. Everyone assumes some base knowledge, and breezes over the annoying details. But as we all know, the devil's in the details.

So I can't help but gush with enthusiasm at Sreekrishnan Venkateswaran's fortitude and wisdom in putting together an article entitled A look at WLAN, Bluetooth, GPRS, GSM, and Infrared Data on Linux. I've just been skimming it, and it seems to have a lot of excellent information on various wireless technolgies, how they fit together, what they're good for, and (hopefully) how to make them work with Linux. But even if the Linux bit is just kinda sketched out, it'll make for good reading.
