Decided to check out some new trails tonight. The result was just amazing. Stout climbing, incredible views, and buff, flowy singletrack. I'll be riding these trails again, for sure.

Long Cyn - Oak Park Loop

I picked up a set of Tifosi sunglasses this week, and they're great. I resisted for a long time, but finally spotted a frame with a huge shield lense, and I had to bite. $60 for the Logic XL with red, smoke, and clear lenses, all vented.

The guy at the shop recommended the red lenses, and he was right. They cut the glare of afternoon sun nicely, but let enough light through that I could keep them on even as afternoon turned to dusk. No fogging, they stayed on nicely,

So, no more borrowing Janell's running shades, and no more dried out contacts. And I have clear lenses for evening rides. Very cool.
