Turkish Get-Ups
Had a long weekend off. Read Pavel Tsatsouline on the plane. Arrived home resolved to make the Turkish Get-up part of my workout.
Today's workout:
3 Rounds:
- Swiss ball pike x 8
- Swiss ball push-up x 8
- BJJ bridge x 16
- Swiss ball bench dip x 8
Then:
- Turkish get-up x 5 @ 15# (left hand)
- Turkish get-up x 5 @ 15# (right hand)
Very slow, with very easy weight, concentrating on form. (This reminded me very much of climbing.)
3 Rounds:
- Beat on Boxing Dummy x 2 min.
- Rest 1 min.
