iTunes per iPod

I said a while back that the success of iTunes and the iPod is not an indication of consumer acceptance of DRM.

Downhill Battle's site iTunes per iPod is making the same case, which is cool.

However, Gear Live and iTunes per iPod seem to think that this is proof that everybody's downloading everything illegally. I disagree. I still think the fastest, easiest way to fill up an iPod is to rip your own CD collection. Just about everything on my player was loaded this way.

No conculusions here, really. Just food for thought.
