Took a spin through Cheeseboro today. Up the canyon to China Flat, then down through Las Virgenes canyon. I was looking forward to the extended singletrack between the Edison road and the Las Virgenes canyon fire road, but I'm not sure I'd do it again: a lot of it is unridable, and none of it is maintained at all. Much of it was overgrown, horribly rutted, or completely washed out into deep holes at stream crossing. Either take the blind corners with caution, or be ready to bunny hop.

And the fire road wasn't much better. Ridable, but steep, loose, rocky, and rutted. Not a lot of fun.

Still, it was a good workout, and like they say: every day in the saddle is a good day.
