Simi Valley Mountain Biking To-Do List

My wife and I were discussing the joys of running/hiking/riding new trails last night, and I woke up this morning with a few to-do items rattling around in my head.

Sage Ranch Park

I've lived in Simi on and off for something like 6 years, and I still haven't taken my bike up to Sage Ranch Park. It's the perfect trail for a day when I just want to get out for a quick ride.

Or maybe I'll start at the Rocky Peak trailhead and ride over on the North American Cutoff. Speaking of which...

North American Cutoff

This connects Box Canyon Rd. with Sage Ranch Park, and (as far as I know) is the only way to get from the Rocky Peak trailhead to Sage Ranch on (mostly) dirt.

El Escorpion & Bell Canyon Parks

Right next door to Cheeseboro Cyn, where I've ridden for ages. I've just never checked it out. It's time.

Albertson/First St./Runkle Triangle

I first started exploring this area years ago when I first started riding, but shied away because it was easy to find myself very tired, and with a steep climb between me and the trailhead. I'm stronger now, and know the general area better, and it's time to dive back in.

Wildlife Corridor Trail (AKA "Animal Trail")

I tried climbing this trail a while back, and didn't make it. I want to have another go.
